The Seller Insights and Planning team’s mission is to make FBA the best place for sellers to both thrive and delight customers. We achieve this through identifying opportunities to address seller pain points, optimizing our services to reduce seller effort, eliminating the defects that lead to seller costs, and orchestrating initiatives across business, technology and operations that simplify the seller experience.

As a Business Analyst II, you use data analysis and business understanding to solve complex problems and drive decisions within projects aimed at enhancing WW FBA seller performance. You work tactically, learning to be strategic, handling projects based on stakeholder requests, and proactively identifying patterns to propose solutions. This role will require you to collaborate with stakeholders to define problems, set goals, and deliverables, and create short-term solutions, while managing roadblocks with limited guidance. This work will directly impact the development of strategic plans and initiatives aimed at improving seller operations, increasing sales, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will build reports and metrics, drive ad hoc analysis, and communicate insights to key stakeholders.


Key job responsibilities
Build and maintain recurring metrics and reports for WW FBA Business. Monitor existing metrics as well as develop and propose new metrics, working with a variety of business stakeholders.
Design and implement reporting solutions enabling stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to WW FBA seller performance, customer feedback, and operational metrics. Identify trends, patterns, and insights to drive strategic decision-making and present findings to stakeholders.
Build a deep understanding of the WW FBA Business objectives and operational processes. Use this knowledge to communicate findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
Continuously look for ways to optimize business processes and workflows. Inform process owners of potential improvements and work collaboratively to implement changes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience
- 2+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Ability to transform data and metrics into visualizations and summaries.
- Experience defining requirements to achieve complex business solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
