As a Public Sector Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology, and increase adoption and market segment presence of the AWS Healthcare business in Israel.

Key job responsibilities
As a Public Sector Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing strategies to drive adoption of AWS services within public sector organizations, with a focus on the healthcare industry in Israel
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at target accounts to understand their needs and challenges, and position AWS as the premier cloud platform
- Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, solutions architecture, partner, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions that address the unique requirements of public sector customers
- Analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and inform the product roadmap
- Achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets through effective account planning, pipeline management, and closed-won business
- Representing Amazon as a subject matter expert in public sector cloud computing, speaking at events and leading customer presentations
- Providing regular updates to leadership on pipeline, deal progression, customer feedback, and market dynamics

About the team
AWS Public Sector Israel is responsible for developing and supporting the Israeli Government, Health and Education customers. AWS won the Nimbus contract that positioned it as the Israeli Public Sector preferred cloud provider. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Demonstrated experience managing strategic public sector accounts, building relationships with key stakeholders and driving successful outcomes
- A substantial background in technology-related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting, showcasing a proven track record of success
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical information to both executive and technical audiences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working with healthcare sector clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry's unique needs and challenges
- Familiarity with SaaS and cloud-based solutions, and the ability to effectively position their value to customers
- A technical background, which may include experience in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field. This type of expertise is considered advantageous for the role
