Amazon's Finance Operations, Accounting & Analysis (FOAA) team is a fast-paced, team-focused, dynamic environment and delivering great experiences for our customers is top priority. FOAA is seeking a Production Planning Analyst to support our Latam Production Planning team.

The Production Planning Team ensures Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers have robust and cost optimal labor plans while constantly innovating in a number of areas aimed at improving our customers’ experience. Key job responsibilities
The Production Planning analyst will be expected to deliver weekly capacity plans for Amazon fulfillment centers (FCs). These capacity plans will help influence network level strategic decisions through partnering with senior stakeholders in the FC as well as the network. The ideal candidate will possess both an analytical background that enables them to support network planning and demonstrate the ability to think broadly and strategically about operational initiatives. They will experience a wide range of problem solving situations, requiring extensive use of data collection and analysis. They will work in lock-step with multiple business teams including FC operations’ leadership, HR, finance leadership, supply chain and transportation teams of the network they will plan for.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, finance or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in planning or operations. Planning can include production planning, capacity planning, product supply planning, manufacturing planning, and similar.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong sense of ownership and customer obsession
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills and an ability to provide creative solutions to complex problems
- Team player: Strong, demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional teams, and focus on quality and customer evangelism
- Ability to deal with ambiguous problem statements
- Languages: Advanced English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Operations or Supply Chain
- Experience in SQL/VBA or any visual analytics platform like PowerBI or Tableau
- Experience with performance metrics
- Ability to build scalable analytical models
- Direct experience in quantitative research or analyses
- Languages: Portuguese
