Principal Security Engineer, Amazon | Multiple Locations, USA
DESCRIPTION
At Amazon, Principal Engineers are both visionary leaders and hands-on builders. As Amazon’s most senior individual contributors, Principal Engineers work on our hardest problems. While many companies this size take their foot-off the gas pedal, at Amazon, it’s still Day 1. This startup mentality, however, does not admit the luxury of a conservative approach. Principal Engineers venture beyond comfortable approaches to pioneer new spaces, and inspire others as to what’s possible.
The Amazon Security organization is solving interesting problems across a wide range of businesses, from protecting AWS hardware to securing Kuiper satellites to end-point protection in Whole Foods around the world. You will own and push the strategic security roadmap for your department and have a strong vision for where the organization should go. Principal Security Engineers ensure Amazon is leading the industry in building and providing the best in class security solutions, both to our customers, and protecting our organization, information, and data.
