The Market Insights Specialist is expected to work with the Market Insights team and provide market research service in support of business development and seller experience enhancement. You will conduct primary and secondary research to generate unique market insights, provide feedback to improve our seller-facing products and services, identify potential opportunities and monitor movement of other Cross Border eCommerce (CBEC) industry with clearly-written bilingual reports. In addition, you will work closely with Asia and global stakeholders to develop insights for key strategic discussions. This role requires fast learning capabilities, deep curiosity about seller behavior and voices, and the research & analytical horsepower to offer actionable insights.

Key job responsibilities
• Coordinate and conduct market study and business analyses of government policies, industry trends, seller behaviors and sentiments, CBEC evolvement, etc.
• Synthesize market data and seller voices into business insights through conduct of external/internal research and data gathering to develop informed perspectives
• Dive deep into designated subject to provide insights and facilitate business discussion
• Maintain segmented map of the market landscape – both for sellers and relevant service providers
• Conduct market test of articulation of our future value proposition aspirations within target market segments
• Leverage all market, sellers, service providers and competitive insights, along with product portfolio perspectives, to recommend targeting strategies for the organization

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics or other related majors
• Graduate between November 2024 and July 2025
• Demonstrated knowledge conceiving, designing, fielding, coordinating, analyzing and disseminating qualitative and quantitative research projects
• Market Research Capabilities: Have experiences on executing research projects (such as survey, interview) from questionnaire design, data collection, data analysis, and interpreting data to reports, and rehash into comprehensive presentation.
• Communication: Proficient English (verbal and non-verbal), good communication skill, experience internship at MNC or consulting firm a plus. Second language a plus.
• Tool Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint , Power BI/ Tableau. Data tools: SQL, Phyton, SPSS. Familiarity or quick learner to survey tools (e.g. Qualtrics, 问卷星).
• Soft skills: logical thinking; Attention to detail when supporting project Management; flexibility and agility in supporting ongoing projects; quick learner; team player; leadership on campus a plus. Oversea experience a plus. Cross border seller experience a plus. Social media enthusiast a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree a plus
• Ability to synthesize complex research results into easy-to-understand, impactful recommendations
