System analyst

Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) enables third-party businesses (our Selling Partners) to hand over the heavy lifting of warehousing, payment processing, delivery returns and customer service to Amazon, utilizing the capabilities that Amazon has built over the last 25 years. Today thousands of Amazon Sellers from more than 130 different countries around the world fulfill orders to customers in 185 countries using FBA. Last year FBA in EU served 3 billion units.
We currently seek a competent, curious, resourceful, and experienced Analyst to supercharge our analytical capabilities. The ideal candidate should have a proven ability to independently deliver complex analytics projects. This role has high leadership visibility and requires efficient communication with non-tech stakeholders.
The role presents an exciting opportunity to mine petabytes of data in one of the world's largest data lakes in the world via leveraging a wide plethora of data analysis techniques and tools. Your goal will be to discern the complex system decision patterns and relationships, to uncover profound the business insights and to build scalable and sustainable tech artifacts to support FBA EU business growth. Key job responsibilities
•To build and automate ETL data pipelines
•To lead deep dives working backwards from business hypotheses and anecdotes
•To build insightful visualizations and document the findings for non-tech audience
•To own strategic analytics initiatives
•To efficiently collaborate with business stakeholders at all levels
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance)
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in data analytics
• Experience of working with SQL and at least one data visualization tool (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Amazon QuickSight) in a business environment
• Impeccable attention to detail and passion for end-to-end processes' optimization
• Strong ownership and analytical mindset
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance)
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in a senior tech role within a global organization
• Experience of working with AWS services (edited)
