AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

As a Database Go-to-Market Specialist, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and assist deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon’s cloud computing platform within the enterprise, SMB, and start-up communities, with specific focus on Database and Storage services

Key job responsibilities
- Your responsibilities will include partnering with the account and channel teams to define key market segments to target, driving the necessary business and technical relationships with customers and partners to establish new business in those markets, and enabling the account team drive the day-to-day interactions with prospects in order to build long-term business opportunity.
- You’ll also work closely with the product/service teams to help them evolve the products/services and address issues, concerns, and requests from the field.
- Build and scale out programs for demand generation teams and AWS partners to advance database and storage workload sales opportunities across a broad set of customers in Taiwan.
- Prepare and present business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new enterprise customers. You will guide global cross functional teams to drive database adoption on AWS across existing and new AWS customers.
- Identify specific partners to approach while discussing potential application of the AWS services for their business and use case. Support engagements for database and storage services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services
