We are looking for an outstanding Senior Program Manager who will develop, implement, and improve customer experience through managing multiple initiatives as a program for one or multiple of the organization's products. This person will partner with internal Customers (Operations, Maintenance, Process, Ops Engineering, etc.), external stakeholders (e.g. vendors) and MSP team members to ensure efficient planning and execution of initiatives, as well as management reporting.
The primary role of the MSP team is to drive future innovation across all aspects of Mechatronics and Packaging, across industrial hardware/control machines such as robotic cells, autonomous vehicles, sortation, packing technologies and packaging materials. We drive strategic partnerships with key stakeholders such as Operations, RME, ACES, Supply Chain, Transportation, WW Design, etc. to ensure we deliver robust products that effectively integrate into the Amazon Fulfillment network.
The Senior Program Manager - Customer Experience will drive multiple initiatives as a program, for one or multiple of our products, in order to exceed the high bar of our customer's requirements. This will require close collaboration with customers (primarily Customer Fulfillment Operations) and stakeholders (for example ACES, WWDE, Supply Chain, Operations Engineering, Finance).
A successful candidate has previous exposure to Customer Fulfillment and Industrial Automation, ideally in a warehouse environment, and is able to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously. They effectively leverage support from other teams and peers within their own team. Effective verbal and written communication is a key skill to generate alignment between MSP and other functions. They will work successfully across multiple large engineering and operations teams and drive quality across all our products. This candidate requires strong attention to detail, technical penetration, excellent communication skills, collaboration, analytical and abstract thinking, time management and organizational skills.
Key job responsibilities
• Travel 50% of the time, to capture voice-of-the-customer and anecdotes first hand, and generate buy-in with customers and stakeholders for initiatives
• Collaborate with engineering and process teams to drive the delivery of initiatives
• Own reporting of their programs, involving and aligning internal & external stakeholders
• Work closely with technical leaders and program managers to compose and influence product improvement roadmap
• Write effective narratives and present them to Directors and VPs
• Demonstrate strong program management, organizational, and leadership skills to facilitate effective, collaborative project meetings
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in program or project management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience leading process improvements
