Amazon Fresh is a new grocery store designed from the ground up to offer a seamless grocery shopping experience, whether customers are shopping in store or ordering a home delivery or curbside pickup online. We’ve taken our decades of operations and supply chain experience to offer our customers a wide assortment of national brands and high-quality produce, meat, and seafood along with a range of delicious prepared food consistently at low prices, available at their door step in two hours. We’ve also introduced new ways to make grocery shopping more convenient, including the Amazon Dash Cart, which enables customers to skip the checkout line, and new Alexa features to help customers manage their shopping lists and better navigate our aisles.

Amazon Grocery Supply Chain team is looking for a motivated, analytical and passionate supply chain manager who can help us in improving our Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. S&OP is a critical part of the Amazon Fresh Supply Chain which is responsible for bringing efficiencies and reduce costs using data analysis, processes and visualization tools to support our growing business in the US. In this high impact role, you will collaborate with a number of Category and Operations leaders and will use data to drive discussions and gain alignment. It will require a willingness to dive into the details, solve new problems as they arise, leverage high judgment and gut instinct, look around corners, and always obsess over customers. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as outstanding business acumen and comfort with technical teams and systems. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and enjoying working with large scale of data.

You will work side by side with a talented team of operators, product managers and software developers in an agile environment to develop product concepts, define requirements and priorities, and decide future roadmaps. This high visibility role is a great learning experience and offers candidates regular exposure to senior leaders in Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
- Own volume planning and forecasting for the Amazon Grocery Network in NA.

- Provide Data analysis support by developing SQL queries and dashboards to facilitate business decisions among the Team.

- Navigate through ambiguity, managing and coordinating multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the cross-functional processes and delivering on commitments.

- Work with cross-functional teams to share the entire network business status in a timely manner.

- Work closely with partner teams such as Retail business team, Operations, Technology and Product team to help improve volume planning for the business.

About the team
Amazon Grocery Logistics (AGL) Supply Chain team includes managing inbound supply chains supporting Grocery Fulfillment Centers (GFC) and Grocery Stores (GS), forecasting volume for under-the-roof operations in GFC, GS and Grocery Distribution Centers (GDC), as well as operating the end-to-end GDC supply chain connecting vendors to spokes. We aspire to provide our customers a fantastic shopping experience on both our online and physical stores by ensuring high in-stock rates, lowering customer friction where possible, improving operational excellence with enhanced predictability of network volumes, and reducing overall Cost-to-Serve (CTS).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
