Principal Product Manager, AWS Cloud Governance
DESCRIPTION
AWS Cloud Governance is looking for a senior product manager to focus on the end-to-end Cloud Governance story. Cloud Governance is Cloud governance is a set of rules, processes, tools, and reports that help customers align their AWS cloud usage with their business objectives. Today Cloud Governance is 6 AWS services, but we are focused. We are focused on creating a unified end-to-end experience.
As the central product leader, you will work closely with the tenured Director and GMs in Cloud Governance. You will ensure all products being released work in conjunction with each other. You will own the quarterly business review and WBR, in preparation for AWS's weekly business review. Most critically, you will own the overall direction of the collective Cloud Governance products. This includes the desired end-state, Cloud Governance gen-ai opportunities, and external messaging.
This is mostly an individual contributor role. You may manage a few ICs, but are expected to personally drive large strategic initiatives.
Utility Computing (UC)
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in technical field
- 6+ Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- 6+ years experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- 6+ years experience on technical products and teams
- 4+ years experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams
- Experience with AWS or cloud computing services
- MBA or masters degree in technical field
- 6+ years experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- 6+ years experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
