Sr. Manager, Delivery Service Partner, Amazon Logistics
DESCRIPTION
Amazon seeks a Sr. Manager, DSP to join JP AMZL LMAM (Last Mile Account Management) team who supports the capacity building of AMZL Last Mile network via partnership with DSPs (Delivery Service Partner) in Japan.
With the rapid growth of the company, it is essential to make continued investments in process improvement and technology. The goal of AMZL is to build a world class last mile operation.
This position is a core management function in DSP Program as Account Management section responsible for DSP partnership management, capacity building (procurement) for on-going business as well as to achieve long term strategy of AMZL JP. This position requires strong ownership for DSP program itself, excellent skill/experience on vendor management and communications both internal and external stakeholders including partner executives.
Key job responsibilities
The Sr. Manager, DSP is the operational lead in Japan for our DSPs who delivery major portion of our deliver on behalf of Amazon everyday.
• Lead senior level communication/negotiation/business development with large scale of external vendors
• Identify issue/root cause with limited information and lead communication across functions and build alignment on solution
• Document and analyze with clear and data driven statement for senior level/leadership
• Communicate with business and supporting teams especially from S&OP, Operations, Finance, Tech point of view
• Take end to end responsibility for managing DSP accounts
• Develop and improve the program with deep understandings on complexity and ambiguous internal/external circumstance

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in external vendor management or business development
• Business level of English and Japanese (verbal & written)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Deep understanding of Supply Chain Management and Logistics industry as well as Finance/Accounting
• Fluent verbal/writing English skill
• Desire and ability to learn quickly with strong appetite for knowledge
• Experience on continuous CxO level business communication and decision making.
