DESCRIPTION

At Amazon KSA the HRBP provides support to the First Mile & Last Mile team by partnering with senior stakeholders on country related business and people agenda and manages KSA regional projects independently.

ORGANIZATION HEALTH
Conducts diagnostics to identify trends & environmental ER or workplace issues, communicates findings in a timely manner
Partners with management to drive positive work place environment
Proactively monitors and acts to address labor changes for the operation Implements action plans that addresses workplace environment, employee engagement or retention issues
Supports investigations with employee relations team on issues in consultation with management
Supports rollout of compliance initiatives; understands and independently counsels the business regarding local employment law and legislation changes
Leads client group or site engagement activities and audits to monitor org health and to engage with employees/associates

WORKFORCE PLANNING & TALENT ACQUISITION
Partners with internal Recruiting functions and external government entities for PWD and female hiring increase as a part of our goal in being equal employment opportunity ambassadors
Engages with managers to ensure peak and launch plans are created, participates in plan deliverables as needed
Works closely with staffing and/or recruiting internal partners to maintain healthy candidate/staffing funnels

TALENT MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT
Facilitates or assists multiple department or group level talent discussions quarterly and yearly
Coaches and develops business leadership on performance and talent management as per internal guidelines and best practices

HR OPERATIONS
Analyzes data and shares with senior leaders
Trains and/or consults with managers on employee life cycle issues impacting the business or the employee experience
Utilizes Connections reporting data and provides ideas and strategies for how to improve engagement and manager capability
Is able to monitor to attendance, attrition, and staffing trends and troubleshoot issues
Identifies gaps in policy and services, makes recommendations for system process improvement and may draft and maintain policies for the legal team's consideration
Rolls out new policy changes/services and ensures business adoption and/or understanding of changes
May recommend exceptions to policies with input from senior leaders or HR regional management.

This role is site-based, the availability from the assigned location is a requirement, as well as monthly business trips within the Western Province of KSA.

A day in the life
You will be working with two other HR Business Partners and HR Admins from the same function to support and serve the KSA employees, while playing a key role in improving the culture and environment through your scope.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
- 4+ years of previous HRBP experience, or HR Supervisor, or Talent Management experience.
- Arabic and English language: the role requires speaking with, writing, and sometimes facilitating in both English and Arabic.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience within Logistics and warehousing industries is a plus.
Master’s Degree or CIPD or SHRM is a plus.
Problem solving ability and advanced analytical skills.
Able to manage workflow, with minimal oversight, in a fast-paced, frugal environment with multiple and sometimes changing priorities.
Decision making in complex problems; proactively gathers the right data from appropriate sources; conducts root cause analysis; refers to long term plans and goals; acts decisively, promptly and confidently
Able to lead country-level projects to improve current processes and procedures with minimal guidance
Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings, experience establishing and tracking program metrics including return on investment
