DESCRIPTION
The primary objective of the Security & Loss Prevention manager is to provide physical security services, plan and execute Loss prevention initiatives and ensure asset protection in designated area of responsibility. SLP Manager would assist in mitigating product loss and maintain customer satisfaction in accordance with Global Security guidelines and policies.
The role is cross-functional and requires effective collaboration with stakeholders from business and corporate functions.
SLP Manager's day to day activities involve planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and executing process and procedures laid down by the organization and respective function. Identify Areas of shrink at the FC, Sort center and Delivery station level including delivery partners. Identify the potential theft area and work closely with the concerned stake holders to mitigate the causes of Theft. Optimum utilization of the resources to ensure and maintain high quality and timely support to Business teams. Conduct risk assessment for the respective sites and work in accordance with the security policies and guidelines.Ability to independently handle emergency/crisis situations and use excellent thought process and decision making skills during such ambiguous and complex situation.
1. Security Operation
Rationalization, Roster and Review of Guard Force periodically to achieve optimum results and perform more with less.
Training and development of Guard Force on process and procedures to be followed.
Implementation & Follow-up of Security Plan.
Review of Post Site Instructions.
Reports - Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Half yearly and Annual
Patrolling Observations & Corrective action and follow ups
Ensure YMS and TBS compliance are met.
Ensure all posts are 4M & 5S compliant
2. Audits/Certifications
Keeping the plans & SOPs updated
Periodic review of documentation as per GSO policy.
Preparation of Documents for Internal & External Audits
Surprise Check and reports
5S Audits of all Frisking Points and Implementation of suggested Points
3. Process Improvement & Loss Prevention Program
Process Review & Necessary Improvements
Process Improvisation
Quarterly Assessment
Loss Prevention Report
Follow up & Completion of CAPA
Loss Prevention Audits
4. Security System
Ensure 100 % serviceability of all Systems.
Ensure 100% Training of all security guards
Controlling of Access & Review of Access level
Hygiene Status Report & Operational Effectiveness of Security gadgets.
Preventive maintenance Schedule for all Security Gadgets & its Improvements
Monthly Business Review Meeting
New Projects & Completion report
Reports – Daily, Weekly & Monthly reports
Daily Defect Follow ups
Reports & Follow ups Of Near Miss, Suspected Movements & Process violation at production
5. Loss Prevention Analysis
Conduct Investigation by working closely with business team and support functions in SLP related areas.
Quick Completion Investigation and submission of reports
Loss prevention audits and recommendations if any
Surprise Checks and submission of reports
Follow up & Completion of CAPA with regards to Concern areas.
6. Security Stores and Assets
Maintenance of updated Assets list
Maintenance Schedule of Assets & Security Gadgets
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
University degree level or equivalent through experience and professional certification.
A minimum of 8-10 years in Security and Loss prevention role, law enforcement or security-related profession.
Extensive and up to date knowledge of security equipment and technology.
Experience in managing or coordinating security investigations of complex nature.
Knowledge of information security processes and systems.
Experience in security auditing.
Must be a Graduate or Post graduate
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Loss Prevention
Investigation/Security related Certifications.
Preferably from Military/Law enforcement or Studies related to criminology or forensics background.
Emergency Response / Crisis Management
Training & Development.
