The Senior Program Manager at WHS Central Programs Team will build processes and work with stakeholders across geographies and market places. We are looking for a strong leader who is passionate about people management, developing scalable systems, driving process improvement and working with multiple stakeholders. The leader will be responsible for partnering with Operations team (Fulfilment centres, sort centres and delivery stations), WHS program field teams and Tech partners worldwide. By leveraging lean principles and Kaizens, this individual will build processes to drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk in our processes to ensure a safe, healthful & engaging working environment for our associates across the network. The leader must demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with the field teams and influence change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and safety data analysis.
The Sr Program Manager must be an effective communicator who sends clear, concise and consistent written and verbal messages. The person will be required to identify best practices and incorporate these best practices into our standards to continuously improve the processes. The person must possess excellent program management skill, relevant operational background, experience in data analysis and must have led a large team. The individual must have ability to work with cross functional teams including WHS leadership in different geographies.
The Senior Program Manager will be responsible to lead a team of Program Managers and process improvement experts in India. This individual must create and execute leadership development plans for their team.
Senior Program Manager Responsibilities:
· Possess adequate knowledge on leading people, work with stakeholders in different geographies and time zones.
· Drive WHS programs and deliver on-time meeting all quality deliverable related to the projects.
. Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable Amazon WHS Policies.
· Measure overall performance against published requirements in policies. For all deficiencies, identify a plan for corrective and preventive actions.
Work with technology teams to come up with a long term scalable solution.

Key job responsibilities
Manage a team of 20+ program managers and data analysts.
Work with World Wide WHS Program Managers for on-boarding and delivering solutions.
Own and deliver on CPT goals in line with WW WHS goals.
Drive standardization of processes to continually improve on quality and SLAs for enhanced customer experience.


About the team
WHS Central Programs Team partners with business & program teams from WW WHS to roll out safety programs globally and ensure that Amazon provides a safe and healthy workplace to our associates, contractors, and partners. The team specializes in program management, complex data analysis and offers health and safety related subject matter expertise.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 7+ years of team management experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
