AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a world class partner leader to drive co-sell with telecom ("telco") partners who are “Independent Software Vendors” (ISVs). As a Partner Development Manager, you will accelerate adoption of AWS cloud and GenAI services with telco ISV solutions via AWS Marketplace.

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include creating long-term vision and strategic plans to grow AWS's telco business with ISV solutions that incorporate AWS's GenAI services such as Amazon Bedrock; establishing ISV SaaS-based co-sell motions on AWS Marketplace; driving top line revenue growth through co-sell with ISVs to telecom service providers globally and transacted via AWS Marketplace.

A day in the life
You will work with AWS telco ISV partners to transform their offerings with AWS GenAI services; and establish and evolve ISV GTM with SaaS business models leveraging AWS Marketplace as their primary route to market. You will work with ISV and AWS sellers to drive pipeline and wins of ISV GenAI-infused solutions, and adopt AWS Marketplace for ISVs as sellers, and telcos and their customers as buyers. Key skills include a track record of successful global channel selling in the telco industry; telco transformation; establishment and execution of short- and long-term strategies; and working with telco executives to guide the evolution of telco businesses.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience in the telecom industry, working with and selling to telecom service providers
- Track record of success in building telco channel selling and delivering results in growing telco businesses

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in online marketplaces for software sales
- 2+ years experience in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Data Analytics
- Bachelor's or ideally Masters degree in Engineering, Business, or telecom-related studies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
