Receivables Manager, Accounts Receivable
DESCRIPTION
As the Receivables Application Manager, you will lead a small team of business systems and financial analysts, driving the implementation, optimization, and adoption of our receivables applications globally. You will be responsible for the operational management and service delivery, from onboarding and requirements gathering to ongoing support and enhancements. In this role, you will directly impact organizational productivity and free cash flow by providing front-line analysts with the tools and support needed to transact at high volume with outstanding customer service.
This role requires you to be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of business operations and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving operational excellence, delivering high-quality solutions, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. You will have robust interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to align global teams in the execution of prioritization, implementation, and change management activities. You enjoy working with both finance operations and finance technology teams in developing solutions to complex problems and have a proven record of delivering outcomes with measurable results. You are detail-oriented, experienced in process design, project management, continuous improvement, and change management. Key job responsibilities
• Drive end-to-end onboarding of new businesses and market expansions, including requirement definition, testing, data migration, validation, and change management.
• Establish robust mechanisms for gathering and responding to application feedback, enhancement requests, and production issues, ensuring timely prioritization and resolution.
• Own stakeholder management, developing effective communication and engagement channels across levels, lines of business, and geographies.
• Collaborate with technology teams to groom, prioritize (based on business impact), and execute issues resolution and enhancement roadmaps.
• Develop comprehensive documentation, process assets, and training programs for application usage, fostering user adoption and proficiency.
• Champion the reliability of receivables applications through continuous improvement of operational processes and controls, proactively mitigating application risks.
• Leverage data-driven insights to identify application issues and opportunities, working closely with operational and technical teams to develop and implement innovative solutions.
• Define and monitor key metrics for operational and application health, measuring the impact and adoption of new application features.
• Ensure business continuity by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent within your high-performing team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3+ years of advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.) experience
- 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 5+ years of directly managing and leading a team of 5+ members experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience working in a matrixed environment, influencing strategy, and achieving goals by working across the organization
- Bachelor's degree in business economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, information technology or equivalent
