UX Design Leader, Amazon Pay
DESCRIPTION
Amazon is seeking a creative and customer-obsessed senior UX design leader to help define the future of Payments Experience in India. This role will manage the UX design for India Payments, covering multiple broad areas. As a UX leader, the individual will drive thought leadership, UX execution, and the achievement of business goals and metrics.
Key job responsibilities
- Provide UX thought leadership, identifying customer opportunities and critical UX interventions to influence product and technology decisions
- Lead UX execution, including cross-pod prioritisation, resourcing, design, and customer validation
- Achieve business goals and metrics through UX-driven improvements
- Partner with product managers and tech leads across multiple areas to enhance the experience for millions of customers in India
- Influence several broad areas, both directly and indirectly, to improve the overall payment experience.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs and drive a customer-obsessed approach to UX design

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of design experience
- 5+ years of leading multi-discipline Design teams (ie. visual design, interaction design, user research, etc.) experience
- Experience managing teams
- Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI)
