Amazon's Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) team works to ensure that buyers receive authentic products. We design and implement policies, tools and technology innovations to protect the buying experience on Amazon while minimizing friction for sellers.

For our regional TSE IN team in Bangalore we are looking for a Sr Program Manager with a passion to solve real world problems. You will work closely with corporate counsel, legal, business teams, selling partner experience and support teams, operational excellence, product, BI and data science/engineering teams to deliver high-impact end to end compliance solutions.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of policies, processes and tools to address issues impacting the customer experience in collaboration with teams across Amazon. This is an opportunity that requires a critical thinker with organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. At the core of the position is passion for protecting Amazon’s reputation and the customer experience and trust.

Key job responsibilities
Responsible for assessing risk and developing strategies to meet key compliance requirements for the India marketplace
Define, develop, and manage metrics, key performance indicators, and initiative goals.
Regularly assess initiative health, identify emerging risks, and drive continuous program improvement.
Identify and monitor key operational risks areas, define and benchmark risk indicators, ascertain risk thresholds, review processes health, and engage with stakeholders to drive risk mitigation.
Work with a wide range of cross-functional teams to define compliance requirements, develop and enhance controls, and influence the technology and science teams to build scalable compliance systems.
Communicate regularly with leadership and ensure consistent reporting of business continuity risks and compliance health.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Self-driven, ability to work independently to develop and execute strategies with minimal supervision.
Develop region-specific programs as needed to improve both reactive and proactive enforcement. Maximize automation and efficiency in resolving issues, and identify and achieve measurable goals.

About the team
TSE (Trustworthy Shopping Experience) is the regulation and compliance organization of Amazon where we have program teams dedicated to support various regulatory compliance areas medical device and unsafe products.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent
