Video Advertising is rapidly evolving as customers shift their viewing experiences from traditional linear TV to streaming via connected devices, and Prime Video is a rising player in this space.

Prime Video is looking for a Principal Advertising Strategy to support Prime Video Advertising and to help us translate advertising performance into actionable results. The ideal candidate can think strategically and execute to a high standard, has strong written and verbal communication skills, and is excited to experiment and learn in a data driven environment using customer and advertiser data to influence strategy and execution across multiple internal teams across Prime Video Advertising and Studios. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with large complex datasets, possess strong analytical skills, and is an effective communicator.

Key job responsibilities
• Work cross-functionally to define launch priorities and manage the end-to-end processes and mechanisms
• Use customer behavior, usage and consumption data to understand monetization and identify potential for revenue improvement
• Analyze previous country launch performance to identify learnings and ideal territory characteristics for future expansion
• Develop metrics, data sources, and promote data accuracy within operational reporting
• Partner closely with Business Intelligence teams to update logic, spot errors, and create user-friendly formats of routine reports
• Maintain a can-do attitude and a willingness and flexibility to solve problems at short notice, using any tools necessary

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of professional or military experience
- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
