DESCRIPTION
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
Annapurna Labs, as part of AWS, is looking for a talented Operations Shift Manager for our test laboratory, to support the development of a semiconductor platform based on revolutionary architecture.
Key job responsibilities
• Work in a shift pattern, morning, noon, and night, according to requirements.
• Set up complex operational machinery.
• Operate machinery and make adjustments to enhance performance.
• Operate equipment according to a specific process.
• Troubleshoot management and debug session ownership.
• Support the testing and automation of silicon products.
• Perform routine lab equipment maintenance.
• Perform quality control based on performance reports, recording procedures, and documentation.
• Manage inventory, including stocktaking.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Electronics/Mechanical Practical Engineer.
- Proficiency in laboratory operations and protocols.
- Available to work in rotating shifts - morning, afternoon, and night.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in managing/coaching/mentoring
- Experience with Linux
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Organizational skills
