Located on the Delaware River, New Castle is home to almost 500 historic buildings dating from 1700 to 1940.

Middletown is a few miles southwest of New Castle, close to the Maryland state border.

Both towns offer easy access to sports fields, parks, swimming, biking and walking trails, as well as enjoying proximity to the University of Delaware in Newark.
