The Amazon Music Finance team is seeking a Finance Manager to 1) partner with the Music business team for Latin Iberia (US Latin, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Argentina and Spain) and Canada; and 2) be the subject matter expert for Prime Music and FP&A including country profitability for all international territories.
This is an exciting opportunity to have ownership of all associated finance functions, including developing short- and long-term business goals, financial forecasts/analyses and measuring business performance. This position will work closely with business teams to provide decision support. The role will also include forecasting and providing financial controllership to a large, fast growing, and complex media business.

Key job responsibilities
- Partner with Accounting to ensure accuracy of month end close
- Controllership of publishing royalties
- Controllership of marketing and content spend
- Prepare customer metrics, financial reporting and analysis
- Lead period planning and forecasting for AMU, Prime Music and Free tier for Latin Iberia and Canada
- Partner with country business teams and global teams to grow the business profitably, by performing deep dives, ensure value add reporting and hold the business teams accountable to their goals
- Create space for business team and finance
- Partner with WW finance owners on key assumptions for planning cycles
- Own the relevant sections of international planning docs and QBRs
- Partner with FP&A and GFS on country level PnLs production and analysis, and help international and global leads drive profitable growth
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
