At Amazon, we are excited to offer transitioning service members the opportunity to launch into post-military careers with limitless possibilities. The Amazon Skillbridge program provides military members within 180 days of service separation a diverse array of fellowship and apprenticeship roles. Amazon employs over 40,000 Veterans across a multitude of businesses, including Operations, Sustainment, Devices, Robotics, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The goal of Skillbridge is to train, prepare, and extend full-time positions to servicemembers, providing a smooth transition to the civillian sectior. Amazon pledged to hire over 100,000 U.S. Veterans and military spouses by 2024, building on its commitment to military families after far exceeding its pledge to hire 25,000 by 2021.

Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program
The professional development offered through the Hiring our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program prepares candidates for a smooth transition into meaningful civilian careers. Active duty service members are matched with Amazon based on their skills and preferences for a 12-week fellowship program. To be eligible service members must be within 180 days of transition from military service for the duration of the program.

I applied for a Skillbridge opportunity, how long until I hear something?
If you complete the application process and an internal host team is interested in providing a fellowship, you should hear something back within 6 weeks. Please feel free to follow up on a status of an application.
How likely am I to recieve a full time offer at the end of my fellowship?
The goal of the fellowship programs is to train and extend full time positions if available to fellowship participants, just in time for their military transition into the civilian sector.

Where can I find the locations listed for the various opportunities?
Opportunities posted will either be open to the U.S./Virtual/or list out location specifics in the posting We don’t know locations of opportunities until they are confirmed with the host team and posted OR once confirmed to participate in the upcoming cohort.
My base is requiring a MOU to participate in the program, how can I obtain the document?
Once a servicemember is accepted into a fellowship role, the Skillbridge team can assist with any needed documents (ex. MOU, training plan) that Command may require.
What are some examples of fellowship roles?
Fellowship roles vary based on business need and a candidates individual transitioning timeline. Amazon is constantly growing and expanding and new opportunities not listed below are created regularly.
