DESCRIPCIÓN

Operations Risk and Compliance (ORC) is Amazon's compliance organization with oversight of Transportation, Food Safety, and Global Trade. It is a global organization which seeks to elevate compliance in the eyes of regulators and to assess and mitigate risks to Amazon.

This role will own the Program Management Office (PMO) for ORC, and will oversee the Amazon mechanisms such as Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Business Reviews (xBRs), and our yearly Operational Planning cycles (OP1 and OP2). The PMO is responsible for effective resource management, change management, and other compliance equities such as mergers and acquisitions compliance due diligence.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead a cross functional program management team
- Support the Operations Risk and Compliance teams through resource management needs
- Develop and implement scalable mechanisms to maintain effective and efficient use of resources
- Responsible for monthly goal reporting
- Own long term strategic planning documentation and development

REQUISITOS BÁSICOS

- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years of program and project management experience
- 5+ years people management experience
- Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams
- Experience owning large scale programs
- Experience driving process improvements

REQUISITOS DESEADOS

- Master's Degree
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certifications
- Experience in regulatory and compliance related industries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $142,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $236,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
