Amazon Global Trade Services (GTS), Direct Import Product Compliance, is seeking a Senior Manager, World Wide Regulatory Intelligence with deep expertise in global import product compliance and Partner Government Agency (PGA)/Other Government Agency (OGA) requirements. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives on building innovative solutions that ensure seamless regulatory compliance while enabling business expansion across global supply chains.

The successful candidate will leverage compliance expertise and technology-driven strategies to define and deliver scalable compliance solutions that ensure Amazon’s adherence to worldwide (WW) trade regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of import compliance, cross-border trade complexities, and regulatory agency requirements to drive the development of automated, data-driven compliance frameworks.


Key job responsibilities
- Apply Subject Matter Expert-level knowledge of global import regulations and PGA/OGA requirements to create disruptive and scalable solutions that optimize compliance workflows for Amazon’s Direct Import operations.
- Develop and manage compliance tools, dashboards, and automation frameworks to improve risk assessment and adherence to import requirements.
- Invent and simplify processes to enable global product expansion, reducing regulatory bottlenecks while maintaining compliance integrity.
- Define business requirements and collaborate with Legal, Engineering, Trade Operations, and Data Science teams to build and scale import compliance tools.
- Manage large-scale, cross-functional projects that align with Amazon’s global regulatory strategies and trade compliance goals.
- Develop best-in-class processes, systems, and standard operating procedures to support end-to-end importation requirements.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders, to anticipate regulatory changes and ensure Amazon’s compliance strategy remains ahead of evolving global requirements.
- Champion a data-driven approach to compliance by developing key metrics, leveraging analytics, and continuously optimizing for efficiency and accuracy.
- Own and drive results by delivering measurable improvements in regulatory adherence, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation.

REQUISITOS BÁSICOS

- Bachelor's degree
- 12+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 6+ years of team management experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $160,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $265,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
