Our Internal Audit team is responsible for helping protect Amazon’s businesses and customers globally. We provide an independent and objective assessment of risk and work with senior leaders across the company to drive continuous improvements that directly help our customers. We analyze business practices, processes, and technology to find current or potential issues, and then we work closely with business leaders to address those gaps with sustainable solutions.
We’re a global team with a diverse set of profiles, skills, backgrounds, and titles, including auditors, business intelligence engineers, business analysts, technologists, program managers, and security experts.
Meet Amazonians working in Internal Audit
William R., Senior Security Engineer
William, a Texas native, worked for Amazon in Seattle for eight years before moving to Boston. He started at Amazon by working on Website Frameworks, went on to redesign CAPTCHAs, was the founding member of the Amazon Go security team, wrangled machines in Robotics, and now works on the Offensive Security Research team in Internal Audit.
Mingyang X., Audit Manager
Mingyang joined Amazon in 2014, and she enjoys, “staying in tune with the latest technology, the innovation, and the fast paced work.” Every day she gets to learn exciting processes, such as what happens behind the scenes after our customers order and how cross-border shipping allows customers in China to receive the same products as customers in the United States.
