Field Security and Loss Prevention (S&LP)
The Field S&LP team, organised in geographical clusters, provides direct personnel and physical security services to operational partners across all Amazon business lines at all operational locations and supply chain network across EMEA. This includes managing the physical security systems of Amazon sites, onsite security teams, and investigations of under the roof and on the road security related incidents. The Field S&LP team members are trusted business partners and engage with leadership teams as part of site and regional management structures.
Risk & Resilience
The Risk & Resilience team proactively identifies risks and threats within the operational business lines across EMEA and delivers efficient, effective, and proportionate solutions to mitigate them. The team implements risk-management frameworks to support Field S&LP in protecting people, assets and operations. This is achieved by leading initiatives that innovate and improve the current security infrastructure and methodologies, optimising security service providers, automating processes, and ensuring sufficient, suitable and skillful personnel.
Investigations
The Investigations team provides investigative frameworks to support field-based personnel and to safeguard Amazon people, assets, operations and brand reputation. The team deep dives and identifies root-cause issues associated with product loss, damage, critical incidents and fraud. The team is structured into three specialised departments covering Supply Chain & Transportation, Special Investigations and Field investigations, which enables the team to support multiple stakeholders within EMEA.
Program Implementation (PI)
The PI team is made of subject-matter experts who drive initiatives to design, implement and integrate risk-based solutions specific to each Amazon business line across EMEA and ensure Amazon’s secured end to end operational network. This involves close engagement and partnership with stakeholders and operational teams on high-risk existing business lines and new business initiatives. The team is focusing on implementing high-quality, tailor-made preventative measures and the development of scalable, standardised and automated solutions.
Physical Security Implementation (PSI)
The PSI team implements and delivers physical and technological security systems across EMEA, including but not limited to Access Control, Intrusion Detection and Video Surveillance Systems for multiple Amazon business types. We manage internal and external stakeholder partnerships, security design process, suppliers, implementation, and programming with ownership of the entire life cycle of those measures.
Security Services
The Security Services Management team is the strategic partner for all Security & Loss Prevention Fields teams and operational customers by providing strategic guidance and framework when managing external and internal security services. We work with security professionals security service providers across three continents and offer a portfolio ranging from traditional security guarding to specialized services (K9, bomb disposal, close protection etc.) as well as remote intervention solutions. We standardize, optimize and automate the use of human based solutions.
Field Solutions Implementation & Support
The Field Solutions Implementation & Support team leads the end to end life cycle of Physical Security in EMEA. The team implements and deliver physical and technological security systems including Access Control, Intrusion Detection and Video Surveillance Systems for multiple Amazon business types. Main responsibilities include managing internal and external stakeholder partnerships, security design process, suppliers, implementation, and programming with ownership of the entire life cycle of those measures.
