Amazon Transcend, Campus Innovation Challenge
As part of its vision to encourage innovation and identify the business leaders of tomorrow, Amazon Middle East and North Africa (MENA) has launched Transcend, first ever Campus Innovation Challenge, a flagship inter-collegiate program for students from four universities in UAE.
Transcend encourages students to innovate, elevate and transform on behalf of Amazon operations in the region.
The challenge is open to 3rd and 4th year students pursuing bachelor’s degree in prestigious universities in UAE. Participating teams will get opportunity to solve real time challenges to improve customer experience and contribute towards Amazon’s business growth.
Transcend will be conducted in 2 stages. From time crunched business problem solving in the first phase to an exciting faceoff between top 3 teams from each campus in the finale, the challenge will allow undergraduate students to brainstorm, strategize and present solutions for problem statements given to them.
At the end of the finale, the winning team will be offered internship opportunities in Amazon MENA. The teams winning 2nd and 3rd positions in finale will receive Alexa devices from Amazon.
In addition, all the 12 teams that made it to finale (excluding winners in finale that win internship) will directly advance to the panel interview for internship positions.
Campus Road ShowWe will launch Transcend 2023 through an in-person roadshow at each campus. We will invite senior Amazon Leaders at the launch event to share sneak peek into Amazon’s secret sauce, its peculiar culture and introduce themes of “Innovate, Elevate and Transform” and diversity of thoughts to students. Seasoned Amazonians will also talk about their journey through Amazon and share tips and tricks to nail the challenge. The launch event will be attended by eligible 3rd and 4th year undergraduate university students along with the campus professors. Upon event launch, students will initiate team formation basis the guidelines shared by Amazon. Start Date: End Date: |
