The Stores Security and Regulatory Compliance (Stores SRC) organization is currently hiring for a Security Industry Specialist to join our team in Seattle, WA.

SRC is comprised of teams that provide consistent high-level judgement to help Amazon businesses and subsidiaries comply with security regulations, policies and Amazon’s high bar for security. The CISC Team sits within Stores SRC and serves as the primary Security Assurance team for Enterprise certifications of ISO 27001, SOC2 type 2, PCI DSS, as well as Compliance reviews and external security due diligence reviews in Amazon.

The Security Industry Specialist II will facilitate customer due diligence and sales enablement functions in Amazon SDO as well as supporting the other work streams in the CISC team. If you enjoy working in a rapidly changing environment and influencing the strategic direction of a large global organization, this position will provide you with a challenging opportunity. You will be part of a team responsible for driving revenue and providing Trust and Assurance to external and internal customers, Auditors and Regulators.

Key job responsibilities
- Facilitate the external customer security due diligence process on behalf of internal business partners by providing timely and accurate responses to security questionnaires and documentation requests, performing contract and security agreement reviews, participating in customer calls, supporting external customer or regulatory audits and other ad hoc requests as necessary.
- Maintain and expand the B2B security assurance knowledge repository and related tools.
- Create awareness and develop educational materials for consumers of the B2B security assurance program.
- Support the design and implementation of the Trust Center and help improve and scale as needed.
- Identify and execute on automation initiatives such as AI enablement and others as necessary.
- Create, maintain, update the Amazon Core Standard Information Gathering (SIG) document and other Security documentation collateral as may be necessary.
- Assist with third-party assessments and certifications (e.g. PCI, SOC 2, ISO 27001) by identifying controls, assessing readiness, recommending remediation strategies and liaising with auditors and control owners
- Develop broad domain and technical understanding of Amazon security control environment and implementations
- Serve as a trusted advisor by building strategic relationships with customers, regulators, and auditors while effectively articulating control implementations and compliance solutions.

About the team
The CISC (Customer & Industry Security Compliance) team is part of the wider SRC (Security, Risk and Compliance) organization. CISC provides assurance to external customers, auditors and regulators to help drive sales enablement and communicate Amazon's security posture through an external security due diligence function. In addition, the team also delivers Compliance reviews, certification and attestation programs such as core Enterprise ISO 27001, SOC2 type 2 and PCI DSS.

REQUISITOS BÁSICOS

- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or relevant field.
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience including information assurance, customer due diligence and/or third party security risk assessment.
- 3+ years of information security governance, audit, risk management or related client service or consulting experience.
- Skilled in risk management, business risk analysis and making complex business/risk trade-off recommendations and decisions.
- Technical knowledge and familiarity with information security standards.

REQUISITOS DESEADOS

- Ability to work through ambiguous customer requests, occasionally with conflicting or competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable with articulating complex security requirements to all levels from senior executives to operational staff, external stakeholders including Auditors or Regulators.
- Experience with third party security assessment and RFP tools
- Related security control and compliance experience in various frameworks including but not limited to: SOC2, PCI DSS, GLBA, ISO 27000 series, NIST, GDPR, NIS2, CCRA, CPRA etc.
- CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC and/or other comparable security controls or audit certifications such as ISO27001 Lead preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $91,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $196,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
