About the Role:
At Amazon Beauty and Fashion Accessories, we're reimagining how millions of customers discover and shop for their favorite products. As our Content Marketing Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our content ecosystem, crafting strategies that bring products to life across social media, Amazon Live, and influencer channels. You'll sit at an exciting intersection of content, commerce, and technology, working with brands, creators, and internal teams to develop engaging content that inspires and converts. This isn't just about creating beautiful content – it's about understanding what makes our customers click, watch, and buy. Your impact will be visible across multiple touchpoints: from viral social media moments to must-watch Amazon Live shows, from influencer collaborations that drive trends to innovative content formats that enhance the shopping experience.
In this role, you will own and drive the content marketing strategy for Amazon Beauty and Fashion Accessories, leading complex initiatives across social media, live shopping, and influencer programs. You'll work independently to develop scalable solutions, influence multiple stakeholders, and deliver measurable business results. Success in this role means combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution, making data-driven decisions, and creating frameworks that can be adopted across categories.
Key job responsibilities
This person will have responsibility for:
1. Social Media Leadership - Drive the vision and strategy for Beauty and Fashion Accessories across social channels, pioneering initiatives that create customer delight. Lead brand-defining moments, innovative content formats, and community-building efforts that transform how customers engage with our categories. Identify and capitalize on emerging platform opportunities while establishing frameworks that scale.
2. Amazon Live Excellence - Manage the end-to-end live shopping experience for Beauty and Fashion, with ownership of program metrics and stakeholder alignment. Break down complex business requirements into executable content strategies. Drive data-driven decisions about programming priorities, working backwards from customer needs and business goals. Develop and document scalable processes that can be adopted by other categories.
3. Influencer Program Innovation - Shape our influencer strategy to amplify Beauty and Fashion discovery, focusing on content that serves both category growth and brand objectives. Own significant portions of the influencer strategy, focusing on measurable impact for both category growth and brand objectives. Identify and resolve program bottlenecks while building frameworks that scale. Make independent decisions about creator partnerships and content direction, backed by data and customer insights. Influence cross-functional teams to drive program adoption and success.
4. Content Strategy & Innovation: Serve as the subject matter expert for content marketing in Beauty and Fashion. Develop technical documentation and best practices. Create scalable solutions for content challenges. Drive innovation in content formats and measurement. Provide thought leadership in digital marketing trends. Guide stakeholders through complex marketing decisions
5. Program Management: Independently manage multiple high-complexity projects. Set meaningful metrics and track progress. Influence without direct authority across teams. Make decisions that impact multiple stakeholders. Identify and resolve bottlenecks. Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
