The Kindle Content team is currently seeking software development engineers, technical programme managers and quality assurance managers to build an incomparable reading experience for millions around the world.  We’re looking for candidates with a background in large-scale engineering, cutting-edge Java-based web development, exceptional C++ skills, experimental machine learning, well-constructed back end services, rapid scalability, integration with Amazon Web Services technology and more!  As one of our front-line technical leaders, you’ll be making it easier for publishers to share their stories and for readers to customise their reading experience by focusing on wireless content delivery, typography development, graphic rendering and content layout.  The result is an personalised reading experience where consumers can customise fonts, enable audio books, download titles from nearly anywhere and read any book across a variety of devices - including the Kindle, iPhone, Android and iPad - without ever losing their place on the page.
