DESCRIPTION

The International Expansions team is responsible for helping to launch new Amazon marketplaces around the world and enabling supply chain solutions for vendors to access Amazon customers globally. This role is part of the centralized Global Purchasing business function at Amazon Exports and Expansion. We are looking for a smart, motivated, and self-driven Program Manager to join our Global Purchasing Program to support the business teams in vendor onboarding and multi-country growth. You will work together with different stakeholders gaining a 360-degree exposure to all aspects of direct import. Collaborating with key retail functions such as Vendor Management, Instock management and Finance, your role will focus on crucial business areas:
1) Vendor support: Partner with Vendor managers and vendors on processes to onboard to the program, create catalog and add selection
2) Ordering and stock management: Collaborate with instock and supply chain teams on processes for timely ordering, solving ordering defects.
3) Compliance support: Liase with Amazon compliance teams and vendors to gather urgent declarations and documents needed for import.
4) Marketing: Drive centralized communication to engage vendors on driving promotional investments for demand generation at different stores. Measure success, gather insights and provide recommendations to vendors on opportunities
You will help with facilitating great business relationships with some of Amazon's highest visibility brands.
To achieve success in this role, you will have strong analytical skills, ownership in executing planned activities, as well as relationship management and organizational skills. You will also be comfortable picking up new technologies. You'll be an analytics expert, identifying problem areas and then creating plans to find resolutions, with the ability to pick up new skills quickly. You'll have strong communication skills and a proven track record of building positive working relationships.

Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities include;
1) Working with Vendor Managers to process vendor onboarding tasks including selection evaluation, vendor code creation and onboarding to the program.
2) Work with vendors to create catalogue for the program codes.
3) Support Compliance and Vendor managers in vendor outreach for document submissions for import sourcing.
4) Support instock management team in analysis and troubleshooting for ordering defects
5) Support instock management team to follow up on PO confirmation and on time deliveries to ensure stock availability.
6) Support vendor managers in product localization and classification activities to support global expansion on the program.
7) Liase across functions to drive their project and help clear issues and bottlenecks.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Advanced excel and SQL query writing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
