Finance Automation (FinAuto) is the engineering organization responsible for building systems that help ensure all Amazonians are paid on time and accurately.
We have teams in Seattle, Arlington, Dallas, Toronto, Barcelona, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Pune. We’re seeking people who will architect, develop, and deliver enterprise solutions to solve complex and ambiguous problems with the highest standards.
Payroll innovation
Our customers expect us to innovate for them in Payroll. Our team built Anytime Pay, which allows employees to withdraw pay as soon as they’ve earned it, before payday. We also use machine learning to ensure that employees are paid accurately. We’re “having fun and making history,” as we like to say at Amazon, in an area that is stereotypically viewed as boring.
You’ll work with customers in the Payroll space to understand their problems, help identify solutions, decide and document the technology stack choices, design high-level and low-level application architecture to address functional and non-functional requirements, code and review code to implement the solution, write automated tests, and deliver the solution to production—all using the latest technologies and best practices.
