On the quest to answer any customer question
Customers turn to Alexa first to stay informed and feed their curiosity. Users converse naturally with Alexa to get answers to their questions and explore information, on any topic and in any language. Developers easily access Alexa’s wealth of knowledge to enhance users’ experience.
At Alexa Knowledge, our mission is to make Alexa smarter on fact-based Q&A. We focus on providing customers with concise and relevant answers, and expanding the number of questions that Alexa can answer. If you’ve ever asked Alexa, “What’s the score of the Seahawks game?” or “Who was the sixteenth president?” then our team delivered the answer. We deliver essential, unbiased facts for customers looking for voting information, air quality stats, homework assistance during remote learning, and more.
Our team also works on enabling Alexa to search for answers in real-time and pull relevant information from our Evi Technologies store of machine-understandable structured knowledge. By leveraging a robust understanding engine and one of the largest knowledge graphs in the world, our cross-functional team of software engineers and content creators continuously invent new Alexa experiences to delight customers. We are constantly looking for new ways to achieve these objectives, applying state of the art techniques and innovating as we go.
We are looking for Senior Software Engineers and Principal Engineers who share our passion for constantly improving information experiences for millions of Alexa customers. We require you to have strong coding skills and experience with Object Oriented programming languages like Java or C++. Preference would be given to candidates with experience in building high-performance, reliable systems in a complex, multi-tiered, and distributed environment. We are also hiring Software Development Managers, Technical Program Managers, Product Managers, UX Designers and Researchers, Machine Learning experts, and Knowledge Engineers.
