DESCRIPTION

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Annapurna Labs as part of AWS, is looking for System SW Test & Development Student to help us develop the semiconductor platform which is based on revolutionary architecture.

In this role, you will be involved in testing cutting-edge hardware systems, ensuring they meet the high standards required for AWS services. You’ll work with innovative technologies in a dynamic, open, and fast-paced environment, gaining hands-on experience with both hardware and software systems.

As a member of the System-SW Testing team, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing test procedures, automating tests, and debugging hardware systems. Your work will play a crucial role in all stages of the product lifecycle: from design and validation to manufacturing and deployment in data centers. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across AWS, ensuring our hardware meets the performance and reliability standards expected by our global customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- BSc student of Computer Engineering with at least 4 semesters (2 years) left before graduation. Please include a grade sheet/academic transcript along with your CV in a single PDF when submitting your application.
- Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C/C++, Java).
- Basic understanding of hardware systems and the interaction between hardware and software.
- Available for 2-3 work days per week

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail for identifying and resolving coding issues/bugs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for documenting test procedures and results.
