Principal Program Manager, AIR , EU AIR

DESCRIPTION

EU AIR is looking for an experienced and motivated Principal Program Manager (PPM) to join the AIR Ops Integration team.
PPM owns cross-functional and cross-regional planning and reporting processes for all three pillars of AIR ensuring sustainable business development of AFN, Cargo, and Expansion segments in line with the long-term profitability targets.

Key job responsibilities
- Owning Strategic Planning Sessions (SPS) and Operational Planning (OP1 and OP2) initiatives; aligning several teams within and outside AIR, sometimes with competing priorities, towards coherent strategies and solutions; leveraging data, industry experience, and strategic vision to bring clarity to complexity and ambiguity; probing assumptions and illuminating pitfalls; fostering Think Big mental models; writing and presenting documents to VP level leadership;
- Leading AIR through substantial fleet and network changes impacting several teams and suppliers including one-way door decisions; communicating and educating senior leaders on trade-offs and presenting recommendations and alternatives to minimize customer, business, operational, and financial implications;
- Ensuring that AFN, Cargo, and Expansion are fully integrated in the AIR business to deliver synergies and avoid mutual cannibalization; in collaboration with Finance, developing and maintaining financial performance models, identifying and delivering profitability improvement opportunities that drive year-over-year gains with focus on long-term growth and scale for all three business segments;
- Managing relationships with senior stakeholders across ATS, GTS, AMZL, Finance, and Global AIR teams driving healthy debates, challenging assumptions, aligning on priorities, influencing decisions, and promoting a smart risk-taking and innovation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- 10+ years of work experience including 5+ years in Aviation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
- Master's degree or equivalant
