We are looking to hire an Operations Manager in Italy to join the team that redefines fast delivery and helps us build and develop this new service for our customers. This is your chance to innovate, have fun and make history.
Our overall mission is simple: we want Amazon to be the place where our customers can find, discover and buy anything online. Whatever our customers want, we will find the means to deliver it. With your help, Amazon will continue to enable people to discover new worlds and implement innovation.
Business Area: 3P Operations
Operations are at the heart of Amazon's customer experience. Each action we undertake is done on behalf of our customers, as meeting their expectations is our priority.
Role: 3P Operations Manager
Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager for our network across Italy. Amazon is one of the most recognizable brand names in the world and we distribute millions of products each year to our customers – our 3P Business expands this selection to local stores that offer their selection on our platform.
A successful candidate will showcase a strong mix of analytical and influential skills. You will be able to balance innovative thinking with the ability to earn trust across a wide part of the organization. You will drive strategic programs related to operational excellence, growth, and/or ways of working. These initiatives span long and short term and vary in scope across IT. You will work cross-functionally and drive projects end-to-end: analyze complex sets of data and/or deal with ambiguity, break down the problem into solutions, map out stakeholders, and define deliverables, timelines, and mechanisms to track progress and continuously improve.
As a 3P Operation Manager, you will be the key link between country operations, finance, country business, delivery, and operations integration teams. You will help to drive innovation, test new ideas, and ensure that best practice is being followed. Four key areas that you’ll always focus on are the safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of your department. You will motivate, mentor and coach your team to become the best leaders they can be. To achieve this, Operations Managers are creative problem solvers who are able to dream on an immense scale, interpret big data and deliver meaningful results that keenly drive productivity and efficiency. Due to our fast-paced environment, it is expected that you will be able to operate in a highly ambiguous environment, communicating and interacting with key internal and external stakeholders.
