From 2022, Antwerp will be home to a new Delivery Station located in the Blue Gate sustainable business park, approximately 4km away from the city centre. The station will serve our customer base in Belgium more efficiently and sustainably, by increasing our delivery capacities and being closer to our customers in Flanders.

The delivery station will be the base for around 50 roles within Operations teams: from the Delivery Station Manager, who will be responsible for team leadership and process improvements, to Sortation Associates, who will support picking, packing and dispatching orders to customers. A number of corporate roles will also be based out of the Antwerp delivery station to support operations. In addition, approximately 250 drivers working for independent delivery companies will collect parcels and deliver them to Amazon customers in Belgium.

As part of Amazon’s commitment to The Climate Pledge, a goal to achieve net zero carbon by 2040, the Antwerp facility will integrate the latest environmental principles in terms of energy efficiency and responsible use of resources, with low-impact city distribution using electrical vehicles.

The delivery station will be easily accessible by bike, car and public transport.
