We're seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Logistics Technology organization. Our team builds innovative solutions that power Amazon's world-class delivery network, enabling us to deliver billions of packages to customers worldwide. We leverage cutting-edge technologies and advanced algorithms to create efficient delivery solutions that delight our customers.
Key job responsibilities
As a Senior SDE, you will:
• Drive the technical and architectural vision for critical logistics planning systems
• Design and implement scalable solutions that optimize our delivery network
• Own end-to-end development of high-impact projects that directly enhance customer experience
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex logistics challenges
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to our technical excellence
Required Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in building large-scale distributed systems
• Good expertise in software design and architecture
• Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects
• Expertise in problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Strong leadership and communication skills
GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
BEVORZUGTE QUALIFIKATIONEN
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
