As a Data Engineer, you will design and implement scalable data pipelines that power our AI-driven career guidance solutions. You'll work with diverse data sources, including external and Amazon internal , while ensuring data quality, security, and compliance. These integrations will enable us to provide real-time labor market insights and future-looking career guidance to our employees.

Key job responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines integrating multiple external and internal data sources
- Architect data lakes and warehouses supporting AI/ML models and analytics
- Develop ETL processes ensuring data quality and reliability
- Implement data governance frameworks and security measures
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to optimize data delivery

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
- Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
