Associate Engagement Manager, A2C
DESCRIPTION
At Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services, we’re hiring Engagement Managers to lead internal AWS, external partner, and customer teams. Engagement Managers deliver AWS cloud products and services that enable our customers to realize their business outcomes. These professional services engagements focus on AWS solutions to help customers and partners remove constraints and accelerate their journey to AWS.
You will join as part of the AWS Professional Services (ProServe) Associate to Consultant (A2C) global practice, which focuses on the incubation of early career professionals.
Our team members work with enterprise customers locally, regionally, domestically, and internationally. As such, this role has up to 100% travel associated. This role will be expected to work from customer sites throughout Korea.
Key job responsibilities
Our Associate Engagement Managers coordinate the and oversee projects for our customers to help them on their cloud journey.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning, organizing, and managing all phases of a project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery. This includes developing and managing project governance plans, project schedules, team goals, milestones, budgets, and defining success criteria.
- Leading project teams to achieve customers’ business outcomes by managing issues, risks, decisions, dependencies, and action items.
- Collaborating with AWS internal stakeholders to seek to understand our customers’ needs, their business, how success is defined, and ensure that we are exceeding expectations in developing and delivering customer outcomes.
A day in the life
This is a customer facing role. You will be required to travel to client locations and deliver professional services as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 2+ years experiences in managing end to end product life cycle as Product Manager
- Experiences in delivering enterprise-level IT Product Development and experiences in leading Agile teams (e.g. Scrum Masters, Product Owners) concurrently and/or at scale
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of AWS services
- Experience with Agile and project management toolsets (e.g. Jira, Rally, VersionOne, Taiga)
- An active agile or project management certification
