The AV Post Production Intern will coordinate and assist on all video deliverables (Trailers/TV Spots/In Cinema AV/Multi Title Sizzles, etc.) that are part of the overall marketing campaign of a title. The AV Post Production intern will be highly organized with a keen focus on minute details and a strong multi-tasking capacity.
Great inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of internal and out-of-house departments/individuals, including AV Producers, asset management, content security, agencies, vendors, etc.


Key job responsibilities
This role will work in support of the AV Post Production team to ensure video resources are meeting overall campaign timelines, content security and budgets.
-Fluent in AV formats with an understanding of the fundamentals of post production, asset management, servicing, and trafficking.
-Coordinate access permissions for production storage & highly sensitive materials; Transcoded, edited, & watermarked video files; Manage migration of digital assets from production storage to studio archive.
-Create reference packages with creative materials for Sports leagues/talent/PR/licensing/toy companies/etc to review.
-Coordinate with internal stakeholders including but not limited to Creative Production, Asset management, AV producers, PR, etc.
on footage to be trafficked to external post vendors, dubbing studios, agencies and sports leagues.
-Set up vendor share folders and loading materials in box as needed.
-Source/prep review links of WIP assets (presentations/reviews/internal & external routing/testing).
-Creating schedules and coordinating creative meetings


A day in the life
Work with cross functional marketing partners hand-in-hand with AV Producers and/or AV Post specialist. Intern will also work on a semester-long AV project to produce and edit then pitch and present to the Head of AV Post Production and AV Post Team at the end of the semester.

About the team
The AV Post Production team consists of AV Producers and Post Specialists that work on AV marketing assets for campaigns for Series, Movies, and Franchise originals on Prime Video.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must be active students during the time of their internship. A student is characterized by: any candidate currently enrolled in an accredited degree program, including Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, Associate, certificates, and diplomas.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous internship experience at a production company or studio.
Editorial and Adobe Suite experience a plus (Premiere/Photoshop/After Effects).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $16.83/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $40.43/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
