We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager (m/f/d) to join our Amazon Music Product team. You will work on the cutting edge of technology and help define and build new Amazon Music features that make it easier for customers to fall in love with music. At Amazon Music, product managers are the CEO of the features they build and closely collaborate with engineers, UX designers and more, to set the strategy for, define, design, and directly manage all aspects of the customer experience.

As a successful candidate, you will be customer obsessed, highly analytical, and able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and applications that customers love. You will have exemplary communication skills and be a self-starter with a strong hands-on mentality, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will excel in the following areas:
· Customer Insights & Innovation: You live and breathe customer insights, and are curious to explore the differences in how customers consume music. You develop solutions that are grounded in a deep understanding of customer needs. You can derive insights from customer feedback, usage data, and external research, and provide input to our engineers.
· Product Delivery: You define and own your team’s short and long-term product roadmap, including business cases, user stories, customer experience, and rapid delivery in an agile environment.
· Business Growth: You manage the complete business of your product area including establishing key metrics, setting and meeting goals on customers, customer engagement and retention.
· Cross-Functional Partnership: You foster tight partnerships with key stakeholders across Amazon. This role in particular requires strong relationships with peers on several teams from social, editorial, label relations, marketing, product, and tech. You are able to clearly present findings to partner teams and organizational leadership, and facilitate decision making at all levels.
· Communication: You proactively communicate your teams' plans and accomplishments in both verbal and written narratives to ensure alignment with senior leadership.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree
· 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
· Native-level language skills in Arabic, proficient vocal and written language skills in English.
· Experience defining and driving a roadmap, and owning end-to-end product and feature delivery.
· Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and tradeoffs of a product.
· Several years of experience delivering cross functional projects. Strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work across functions. You quickly earn the trust of people you work with. People enjoy and have fun working with you.
· Experience with data analytics and tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau).
· Passionate about music and technology. You have a deep understanding and natural curiosity for product management. You are unafraid to deliver bold new experiences for music that don’t exist elsewhere.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Excellent customer experience intuition. You obsess about customers and have the demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into crisp, detailed product requirements.
· Relentless bias for action. One of your favorite things to do as a product manager to launch, learn and iterate. You know what matters most to customers and can simplify product requirements to deliver benefits to customers as quickly as possible.
· Proven ability to make smart features (customer experience) versus time-to-market trade-offs. You have experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value.
· Proven ability to understand and solve complex business problems, leveraging your strong analytical skills and ability to dive deep, to create effective strategies.
· Excellent communication skills, particularly written skills. You are as comfortable speaking in front of the company at an all-hands meeting as you are writing a detailed six-page narrative on your products that you can defend with the highest levels of senior leadership.
· Basic technical fluency. You understand how your products get built and can use that knowledge to work with your engineering partners to make smart decisions.
· Strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work across functions and influence senior leaders. You quickly earn the trust of people you work with. People enjoy and have fun working with you.
