The Amazon Seller Marketing team is responsible for the entire marketing lifecycle of the Amazon sellers – starting with identifying potential seller cohorts, creating awareness & demand for selling on Amazon, acquiring sellers, driving success for existing sellers through product & lifecycle marketing and creating an engaged community of sellers. In addition, the team is also responsible for driving key inputs that impact corporate reputation. With a vision to digitize 1MM small businesses by 2025, this team strives to play a critical role in creating the “Sell on Amazon” brand amongst the tier-II/III and other emerging cohorts of small businesses (D2C brands, social sellers, resellers, local shops, etc.)

The Marketing Manager will be working with the Sr Brand Marketing Manager and is responsible for driving awareness, preference and consideration for selling on the Amazon marketplace. The role will also lead brand building for other strategic small business programs like Saheli and Karigar. Him/Her will work closely with Seller marketing and IN leadership to formulate marketing plans for key events such as Amazon Smbhav, Small Business days etc. The team will work on end to end of brand strategy, campaign development, media planning and research for the above-mentioned brands.
Key responsibilities:
· Develop branding strategy for ‘Selling on Amazon’, and other strategic programs like Amazon Saheli & Amazon Karigar.
· Execute effective brand initiatives to improve upper-funnel brand metrics and drive the overall demand. Develop market research to better understand seller community’s needs and wants; leverage the research findings and seller insights to shape the brand positioning and messaging
· Work with research agencies to execute annual exploratory studies and quarterly perception measurement tracks
· Work with media partner to efficiently plan the media for respective brand initiatives.
· Create, propose, implement and evaluate innovative properties/programs through media channels and partnerships in order to drive awareness and manage positive sentiment of brand Amazon.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners (ATL & BTL agencies, etc) to launch brand campaigns that require both strategic thinking and high-speed execution.


· 3+ years of marketing experience
· Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
· Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
· Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
· Experience managing teams

· Masters degree
· Experience designing and executing online customer experiences
· Strong communication skills; experience in coordinating teams and communicating to senior management
· Strong bias for action and ability to prioritize
· Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up feature and customer segment recommendations
