Our Category Demand Analyst will own the category analytics to create reporting, forecasting and business process analysis. They will also lead KPI and metrics reporting and work with stakeholders to find and understand deviation and improvement areas. This analyst will review historical trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data and evaluate forecast results against actuals.

Key Job Responsibilities:
· Align with the Category Manager to create and automate Procurement standard reporting for category related KPIs to measure, control and benchmark procurement processes including creation of recurring metrics and forecasting reports
· Create and automate Procurement standard reporting and forecasts to establish visibility of current and anticipated spend patterns in all areas to support highest level Procurement negotiations and connect Procurement reporting to other business groups
· Align with Internal customers, Finance and Procurement Operations to understand budgetary targets and changes to develop an agreed method of measuring and defining savings, value and other category metrics
· Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances, refine the forecast model to reflect updated demand assumptions and reduce forecast model variance
·Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function
· Build the category metrics model based on input from the category team to track and monitor performance to the category strategy
· To measure actual vs planned savings and advise team of trends, escalate issues and own action plans
· To review savings opportunities and align with the Category Managers on the development of any corrective action plans


· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance or related field
· 3+ years of relevant strategic sourcing and procurement operations experience in indirect categories, including professional services, support and maintenance spend categories
· Proficient in Oracle, MS tool suite and ability to learn proprietary systems
· Strong analytical skills including the ability to distill, synthesize, and draw conclusions on large amounts of data
· 3+ Experience with Demand forecasting / Demand Planning
· 3+ Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis


· Master’s Degree in Engineering, Statistics or Supply Chain Management
· The ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem solving skills
· Proven track record for cultivating strong relationships with key client and supplier stakeholders that have resulted in high customer satisfaction

· Advanced analytical skills
