Diego S.Regional WHS Manager | Rome, Italy I started in Amazon in September 2014 as a seasonal Warehouse associate; I was in UK, LTN1 Milton Keynes, the very first Amazon FC in EU. I started as I moved in UK to try my luck and have a career. I wanted to challenge myself and I gradually started to ask for opportunities. Firstly I tapped on the General Manager at the time for an opportunity, then I started to work with people, that changed my life. I went to full progression from Safety Proxy, through Safety Coordinator, Specialist, Step-Up Manger, Manager and now Regional WHS Manager. Working with people is the best part in my Amazon experience. Coming from the floor and listening to the people needs has been my main lead to promote safety, as a culture not only policies. |
Who are we looking for?
WHS is in charge of monitoring and enforcing compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, as well as reviewing and updating policies and procedures on a regular basis to reflect changes in the workplace and industry.
Health and Safety Specialist
Your task as healthy specialist would include inspecting and testing workplace settings, equipment, and processes to ensure that they adhere to safety standards and regulations.
Health and Safety Regional Manager
You will be responsible for creating plans and procedures to ensure a safe and accident-free working environment as well as monitoring that safety requirements unique to your region are followed.
Health Safety Manager
Your responsibilities will include working with and teaching all employees to manage, monitor, and enhance workplace health and safety standards, as well as advising employees on how to prevent workplace risks and hazards.
Medical staff
You will supervise medical duties as Occupational Nurse, or Doctor. Your primary objective, depending on your chosen profession, will be to collaborate on health projects, ensure risk prevention, and report trends in key risk areas.
Please keep in mind that knowledge of your native language is sufficient to apply for all Medical Staff positions. English proficiency is useful but not required.
