About Koblenz
What's good to know
Situated in the northern Rhineland, between the Mosel and Rhine rivers, Koblenz is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Germany. It has a history stretching back over 2,000 years and the castles, fortresses, churches and monuments that lend Koblenz much of its historical charm also contributed to the city being granted UNESCO world cultural heritage status.
For those who prefer an outdoor lifestyle, the densely forested region to the south of Koblenz, known locally as the Grüne Lunge, or Green Lung, is a popular destination. But the parks in the centre of town are great for walking and relaxing too. And when you’ve sampled the many museums, theatres and other cultural attractions that Koblenz itself has to offer, the larger cities of Bonn and Mainz are no more than an hour’s drive away.
Fulfilment Centre
The fulfilment centre in Koblenz in northern Rhineland-Palatinate was opened in 2012 and covers 110,000 square metres or about 17 football pitches.
