Amazon South Africa

Amazon South Africa

Amazon.co.za arrived in South Africa in May 2024. It’s an exciting time to be part of a team that innovates to bring value, convenience, and delight to customers around the world—and now to South Africa.

We’re inspired to change attitudes toward shopping, and we’re looking for people who share our passion.

Who we are

Amazon Stores is the team behind the Amazon.com website and its unmatched customer service, product selection, prices, and convenience. More than 60 percent of sales on our site are from independent sellers—most of which are small and medium-sized businesses. Since October 2023, independent sellers in South Africa can register their businesses on sell.amazon.com/south-africa.

“Building a strong relationship with South African brands and businesses—small or large—is incredibly important to us. We want Amazon.co.za to be the place where they can reach millions of customers.”
