We are RME

  • Meet Kasun, RME Planner

I started three years ago as a warehouse associate and then joined the RME team as a technician.

In 2023, I played a crucial role in launching our newest fulfillment center in Jandakot, WA.

I’ve recently been promoted to RME planner, where I support the BWU2, Kemps Creek operations.

I like the people I work with, and the encouraging, friendly culture is what makes me happy at work.

  • Meet Shekhar, Senior RME Technician

I started as an RME technician in 2021 and played a key role in launching BWU2, the largest fulfillment center in the southern hemisphere and the first Amazon Robotics site in Australia.

In 2024 I was promoted to senior RME technician. Now I lead a team of maintenance technicians and am the main contact for equipment and building-related issues. I’m also responsible for managing the technicians through breakdowns, preventive maintenance, projects, and more.

  • Meet Igor, RME Area Manager

I’m the RME area manager at MEL1 in Dandenong South, the first site to be launched in Australia.

I love that every day has new challenges and there are always opportunities to learn. I also really enjoy that Amazon has allowed me to travel around Australia. I even went for training in the US, which was an amazing experience. Also, always having constant support from the entire team, no matter where they are in the business, makes it feel like I’m part of a big, happy family.
