Interview Meeting Platforms
Find out everything you need to know to join your interview meeting. Interviews may take place on Zoom or Amazon Chime. Your recruiter will let you know which meeting platform to use and will share the link to join your meeting.
Zoom
If your recruiter schedules your interview on Zoom, use Zoom’s official resources to prepare in advance.
How to prepare for your Zoom meeting
1. Download and set up Zoom
Visit the Zoom download and setup page to download and install the Zoom app on your device and review system requirements and updates.
2. Test your setup
Before your interview, join a Zoom test meeting to confirm your audio, video, and connection are working properly.

Amazon Chime
If your recruiter schedules your interview on Amazon Chime, use the instructions below to download the app and join your meeting.
How to download Chime
Go to Amazon Chime. Scroll to Amazon Chime for Desktop and download for your operating system (Windows or macOS).
Windows users
1. Navigate to your Start menu and select Computer. Locate and select your Downloads folder.
2. Double-click on the Chime.exe file.
3. In the pop-up window, click Run. The Installer will launch.
4. Follow the Installer prompts and click Install.
5. Once the Installer has completed, click Finish.
6. Launch Chime by going to your Start menu and selecting Chime.
Mac users
1. From your Downloads folder, double-click on the Chime.dmg file.
2. In the new window, drag and drop the Chime icon into the Applications folder.
3. Double-click on the Applications folder and navigate to Chime in the list.
4. Double-click to launch the program.
5. If you get a message saying, “Chime can’t be opened because the identity of the developer cannot be confirmed,” click OK and follow these steps:
Navigate using the following path: Apple icon (top left) > System Preferences > Security & Privacy.
- Click Open Anyway when the security prompt appears, or
- Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy and click Open Anyway for the specific app
How to use Chime
Once you’ve downloaded and installed Chime, you’ll be able to join a meeting.
1. Open the Chime application. There’s no need to sign in.
2. Click Join Meeting.
3. In the Meeting ID field, enter the Meeting ID that was provided by your recruiting point of contact.
4. Click Join.
5. Once the Choose Meeting Audio window pops up, click Use Mic and Speakers.
6. Click Video to use your webcam. Select Screen to share your screen.
